Some Basic Information on Core Exercises for Men
In order to achieve maximum results from strength training exercises correctly and most effectively a man will first need to strengthen their core. There are many safe and effective core exercises for men that will allow men to strengthen their core without reaching a plateau. These core exercises for men can easily be incorporated into any strength training workout. There are four basic types of core exercises for men that will enable a man’s body to effectively perform strength training exercises that will result in a great outcome. The four types of exercises are static floor exercises, dynamic floor exercises, Swiss ball exercises and dynamic Swiss ball exercises.
Static floor exercises include an exercise called the plank. The man will simply lie down on their stomach lifting their body off of the floor with their forearms and toes. The body needs to be kept in a straight position and held for thirty seconds to one minute. Another static floor exercise is the push up plank. the push up plank is the same exercise as the plank except for the man is in a push up position. This is an awesome exercise to end the workout with as it will exhaust almost every muscle of the upper body. As for a dynamic floor core exercises for men the man will want to do an exercise that is known as the V-Sit Hold. The man will lie on his back and bend at the waste as they extend their arms and legs into the air to form a “V” and hold for as long as they can.
Now for both types of Swiss ball exercises a Swiss ball will be needed. A common basic Swiss ball exercise is the lying glute push-up. The man will lie on their back with their feet resting on top of the Swiss ball. They will then push through the ball in order to lift their buttocks off of the ground and they will want to hold this position for as long as possible. Dynamic Swiss ball exercises will definitely kick things up a notch. A common, dynamic Swiss ball core exercises for men include the ball roll in and stiff leg V bends.
All of these exercises give a basic example of some basic core exercises for men that you can use.
